435 viewsRather new United Airlines Boeing 747-400 after a no nose gear landing at Los Angeles International (LAX) after a flight from New Zealand. As I recall a pin was missing or installed wrong and jammed or fell out. The captain set the plane down very gently on the nose gear doors such that the belly of the aircraft was unscratched. The nose gear doors, not so much. ;)
